Everybody’s story about hearing loss is a little different and very personal.
An uncle who was in the military. A grandfather who spent decades in the coal mine. A mother who worked second shift at the auto plant.
When it comes to impaired hearing, you may not appreciate what you’re losing till it’s gone. But the consequences will come clear when the sound of your favorite tunes starts to fade, or when you you’re forced to keep repeating “What? What was that?” every time you make or take a call.
Encourage everyone to wear hearing protection on the job and off.
